404 Department sells clothing and related products.

By placing an order, you agree that:

  • You are authorized to use the payment method provided

  • You understand product colors and print placement may vary slightly

  • You understand sizing may vary depending on the blank garment and manufacturer

  • You are responsible for reviewing your order before completing checkout

We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, limit, or correct an order if there is suspected fraud, incorrect pricing, product unavailability, payment issues, abusive behavior, or any other issue that affects our ability to fulfill the order properly.

4. Pricing and payments

Prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise.

We may change prices, discounts, promotions, shipping rates, or product availability at any time without notice.

Payments are processed through Shopify and/or third-party payment providers. We do not directly store your full payment card details.

You are responsible for any applicable taxes, fees, shipping charges, or other costs shown at checkout.

5. Shipping and fulfillment

Orders may be produced and fulfilled through Printify or other production and fulfillment partners.

Shipping times may vary depending on:

  • Product availability

  • Production time

  • Shipping carrier delays

  • Weather or delivery disruptions

  • Incorrect shipping information

  • High-volume order periods

  • Other factors outside our control

Once an order is shipped, tracking information may be provided when available.

We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, incorrect addresses, customs delays, or events outside our reasonable control.

Please make sure your shipping address is correct before placing your order. If an order is shipped to the wrong address because incorrect information was provided, we may not be able to replace or refund the order.

6. Returns, refunds, and damaged items

Because many of our products may be made to order, returns and exchanges may be limited.

We may accept refund or replacement requests for:

  • Ordering the wrong size

  • Buyer’s remorse

  • Incorrect shipping address provided by the customer

  • Normal variations in color, placement, or garment fit

  • Delays caused by shipping carriers

  • Items damaged after delivery

7. Submit a 404 submissions

404 Department may allow visitors to submit jokes, shirt ideas, error-message lines, taglines, concepts, or other creative submissions through “Submit a 404” or similar forms.

By submitting an idea, you confirm that:

  • The submission is your original idea

  • You have the right to submit it

  • The submission does not violate another person’s rights

  • The submission does not contain confidential or private information

  • The submission does not include someone else’s personal information without permission

Submitting an idea does not guarantee that it will be selected, used, credited, paid, or released.

We may review, reject, edit, adapt, modify, combine, or develop submissions at our discretion.

If we decide to use a submitted idea for a paid product release, we may contact you separately with written confirmation and any applicable payment, credit, or collaboration terms.

No payment, royalty, credit, profit share, or ownership transfer is guaranteed unless agreed to in writing by 404 Department.

Do not submit anything you are not comfortable with us reviewing.

8. Intellectual property

All content on this website belongs to 404 Department or its content providers unless otherwise stated.

This includes:

  • Brand names

  • Logos

  • Product names

  • Shirt designs

  • Website copy

  • Images

  • Graphics

  • Layouts

  • Product descriptions

  • Marketing content

  • Drop names

  • Original phrases and concepts created by 404 Department

You may not copy, reproduce, sell, modify, distribute, upload, publish, or use our content without written permission.

Buying a product does not give you ownership of the design, artwork, phrase, brand, or intellectual property connected to that product.

You may wear the shirt. You may post the shirt. You may look unstable in it respectfully. You may not steal the design and sell it like a villain.

9. User content

If you tag us, send us photos, submit reviews, leave comments, or otherwise share content involving 404 Department, you may be giving us permission to view, repost, share, or use that content for marketing, social media, website, or promotional purposes, unless you tell us otherwise.

We may remove, reject, or decline to use user content for any reason.

You are responsible for the content you submit or share.

10. Accuracy of information

We try to keep the website accurate and updated, but mistakes can happen.

We do not guarantee that product descriptions, prices, availability, shipping estimates, images, or other content will always be complete, accurate, current, or error-free.

We do not guarantee that:

  • Products will always be available

  • Shipping will always arrive by a specific date

  • A product will look exactly the same on every device or person

  • Wearing the shirt will fix your sleep schedule, your code, your dating life, or your entire operating system

We sell clothing. The rest is between you and the compiler.
